The Diving Board ist das 31. Studioalbum des britischen Singer-Songwriters Elton John. Es erschien am 13. September 2013 bei Capitol Records/Mercury Records.

Das Album erreichte Platz 11 der deutschen Charts[3] sowie Platz drei der britischen und Platz vier der US-amerikanischen Charts.[4] Alan Light vom Magazin Rolling Stone gab dem Album vier von fünf Sternen. Er schrieb, mit der Platte habe Elton John "regained his sense of musical possibility and taken a brave, graceful jump." ("...seinen Sinn für die musikalischen Möglichkeiten wiedergewonnen und einen mutigen, begnadeten Sprung gemacht.")[5]
